Installation

• 1. Download FacialRecognitionInstaller.zip.

  2. Install Logitech C930 Drivers located in the ZIP Folder.

  3. Run, aim_installer.bat. This will install the necessary USB Camera drivers + AIM Suite.

  4. The PC will reboot once installation is complete. AIM Suite will now be running as a service.

Configuration

You will need to configure the license and any settings.

• 1. Run AIM Suite Configuration Manager.

• 1. Select Your USB Sensor (Camera), if it’s already not selected.

  2. Select the License Tab.

  3. Take note of the Activation Code and visit https://aimsuite.intel.com/manage/login.php to activate the license for the PC.

  4. Login via the credentials:

       Username: software@adxba.co.uk

         Password: 4dXb44dXb4

• 1. License Management

  2. Once license has been activated, you need to set the Resolution and Enable OTS - Opportunity To See.

  3. To Set the Resolution, view the Advanced Tab. You need to install the camera drivers if you are to set a resolution greater than 640 x 480.

  4. Enable OTS.

Licensing Steps:

• 1. Log in to the Intel® AIM Manage website (http://aimsuite.intel.com/manage) with the account information provided above.

  2. Click on 'Sensor Management'.

  3. Click on 'Add New Location', add the details for the location, and then click the 'Add New Location' button.

  4. Click on 'Add New Sensor', add a descriptive sensor name, enter the activation code that was generated by Intel® AIM Suite, and select the license that you wish to activate.

  5. Click the 'Add New Sensor' button. This will show your license code.

  6. Enter the license code into Intel® AIM Suite to activate the software.

OTS

It measures the number of individuals that passed within the view of the sensor, but did not register as an impression.

• 1. Audience Counter → Configure Audience Counter.

  2. Enable OTS. - It can take upto 24 hours for OTS to finish calibrating, at which point OTS data will automatically start being collected.

Note: Intel AIM Suite OTS Counter must be recalibrated if the camera is ever repositioned, or if there are changes in the environment that will significantly affect the traffic flow of potential views.

Troubleshooting

Why is 640 x 480 is the max resolution I can use

You need to install the camera drivers. In our case, it is the Logitech C930 Drivers. Please, see the downloaded ZIP File.
