Creating a new internal user and adding to the Domain

Creating User on Domain

• • Login to DC1, go to active users

  • int.adxba>ADXBA>users>appropriate folder

  • Right click, New user

  • Enter full name (email is full name all lower case no spaces or dots) (Choose appropriate domain e.g. adxba.net)

  • Untick change password on login, tick password never expires

  • Go into user, add the email and number on the general tab

  • Add number in telephones tab if known 

  • Go to organisations, add job title, department and manager name

Syncing the the domain server to Azure 

• • Open up powershell ‘Get-ADSyncScheduler’

  • Then run 'Start-ADSyncSyncCycle -PolicyType Delta’

  • Check sync cycle running the first command again

Azure 

• • Go to portal.azure.com

You may have to wait for up to 15 mins for user to propigate from ADXBA-DC1 Server

• • Enterprise Applications>Gsuite>Add user

  • Enter name, hit assign

3CX

• • Extensions>add user

  • Fill in account details 

  • Check the google account has synced across before completing 3CX 

  • admin.google.com > users

  • See if they exist in the list

  • Confirm user

  • Tick user and send a welcome email

NHD

• • Settings>teams&staff>staff

  • Check if any available licenses 

  • If not email > Dan.Mostafavi@imaginehalo.com and request additional license 

  • Once New license confirmed

  • Integrations>active directory>agent connection>click in there>sync now (CAREFUL)

  • Untick all users>tick only users you need to and click start

  • Go to staff, check email is synced 

  • Edit user, Add role, and extension number > save

  • Select departments and teams, edit teams with appropriate teams 

  • Select departments and add correct departments

Google Mailing

• • Admin.google.com

  • Users>User>Add to groups>Select groups needed

Google Drive

• • Right click>Manage members 

  • Double check membership due to mailing group

Lucid

• • Login through google, if license is needed then please request

Unity 

• • Log into unity>Admin>Enter account details

  • If user doesn't receive email, user invitation link

PFSense VPN

• • System > Cert Manager > Certificates

  • Add/Sign at the bottom left > Select Create an internal certificate

  • Only Common name and descriptive name need filling out

  • VPN > OpenVPN >Client Export

  • Download windows installer for client at bottom of the page
