Epson Projector Remote Control
Checking for the fault outside of the player..
What to do if the video input in the system is working correctly.
1st of All, Exit the PADS player.
Open VLC
Go to Media -> Capture Device
Select the AverMeai Secondary Capture as below.
This should display the videofeed to show what it is displaying
Diagnosing Where the Fault is
The the screen says the following (with Avermedia in it) then you know the fault in between the stripper and the input card on the PC
Or the stripper it self (its worth giving it a reboot)
If it says Out of Range, then the HDCP stripper is set to the wrong output resolution.
Press the button on the stripper repeatedly until the output appears again and select the correct output resolution (1280x720P50)
Spare Display would be useful here if only one person on site
HDCP Stripper. -
WRONG:
CORRECT:
In the situation that you get a multicoloured screen like below, you know that the fault is previous to the stripper.
