● Top of screen

● Sides & bottom of screen
2a. Connection Tests - NEC Projector
Power on the projector and bring down the screen using the “On” button on the Sy Panel.
Cycle through each individual input to ensure buttons are functioning correctly (there may occasionally be a delay in the command sending, or require the button to be pressed twice, this is normal behaviour).
With nothing plugged into the desk inputs you should see the following when cycling inputs:
“Table HDMI” “Table VGA” “AppleTV”
“AUX In”
Ensure all of the table inputs are working correctly by plugging a laptop (or other available display device) in to each input (whilst ensuring the Sy Panel is set to the correct input), and verifying the correct image is displayed on screen.
Use the projector remote (Fig. A) to make a note of the “Lamp Life Remaining” and “Lamp Hours Used” by pressing the “Menu” button (whilst pointing the remote at the projector), and then pressing the “Right” button 3 times. The information will then be displayed on screen as shown in Fig. B.
Fig. A Fig. B
Should any of the inputs fail to display correctly then check the connections underneath the desk (as shown below). You may need to move the cable sock down to expose the connections.
Should this not rectify the issue then plug your display device directly into the projector using whichever input has failed. If an image is displayed correctly then there is a cable failure between the projector and the table inputs. If there is still no image then the input has failed on the projector and will require a replacement projector.
2b. Connection Tests - NEC Screen
Power on the screen the “Power On” button on the remote control (Fig. A).
Cycle through each individual input to ensure buttons are functioning correctly.
With nothing plugged into the desk inputs you should see the following when cycling inputs (Fig. B):

Ensure all of the table inputs are working correctly by plugging a laptop (or other available display device) in to each input (whilst ensuring the screen is set to the correct input), and verifying the correct image is displayed on screen.
Use the screen remote (Fig. A) to check the fan status under the “Heat Status” menu. This is done by pressing the “Menu” button (whilst pointing the remote at the screen); press the “Right” button until the “Protect” menu is selected; press the “Down” button until “Heat Status” is selected; press the “Right” button to display the status. If the fan status says “Fail” this needs to be reported back to the Service Manager. The information will be displayed on screen as shown in Fig. C.

Should any of the inputs fail to display correctly then check the connections underneath the desk (as shown below). You may need to move the cable sock down to expose the connections.
Should this not rectify the issue then plug your display device directly into the screen using whichever input has failed. If an image is displayed correctly then there is a cable failure between the screen and the table inputs. If there is still no image then the input has failed on the screen and will require a replacement screen.
